WASHINGTON -The federal government is reportedly considering a federal study of a drug for arthritis, an expensive treatment for a rare condition that can lead to death, the U. S. Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday.
The agency said it's reviewing the data and reviewing the agency's recommendations.
The agency said the study was based on data from more than 5,400 patients and included information from patients who had arthritis-related death.
